Some Core Spiritual Thoughts from “Unpuzzling Spirituality”
In the process of writing this book, a couple of spiritual thoughts seemed to “rise to the top.” If you don’t get a chance to read the Unpuzzling Spirituality book, consider:
Our world is created by our beliefs, thoughts, and actions.
Your beliefs are the foundation of everything you create in your life and how you see the world.
If you believe the world is loving – it will be so.
If you believe we live in a “dog eat dog world” – it will be so.
Whatever you BELIEVE you will SEE.
“What we can or cannot do, what we consider possible or impossible, is rarely a function of our true capability. It is more likely a function of our beliefs about who we are.” – Anthony Robbins
“Nothing binds you except your thoughts; nothing limits you except your fear; and nothing controls you except your beliefs.” – Marianne Williamson
Your beliefs pave the way for your thoughts, helping you decide your actions – all of which shape your life and how you influence the world.
We are part of something larger than ourelves and have a responsibility to everyone around us.
When we hold this belief, we look at the world differently… it opens our hearts to everyone and everthing around us. This belief makes us want to help others in our community. We want to contribute to the world, helping to preserve it and thrive.
It changes our thinking from me to we. Instead of asking, “what can I get?” we ask “what can I give?”
We are all equally wanted and needed for the uniqueness we bring to the world.
Knowing we’re wanted by the world for our unique qualities, gifts, and ideas we contribute not only brings about self-acceptance, it helps us accept one another for being exactly who WE are. We not only increase tolerance; we EMBRACE our differences.
We all directly influence the world and can make all of life better.
When you believe this, you wholeheartedly know you can make a difference. You know you influence your world and the lives of others. This is powerful. You EMPOWER yourself and everyone around you.
The above thoughts are OUR thoughts right now on what we found to be the core beliefs that stood out to us… we anticipate they will change with time and experience. But, remember, YOU get to choose what you think your beliefs should be. We can offer suggestions, but ultimately the choice is yours.
Allow for change
You will see and learn new things during your life’s journey. Because of this, your spirituality and understanding of ∞ and the world will evolve as you grow and change. So, remain open to exploring new spiritual understandings, adding a new spiritual thoughts to your own relationship with ∞, or even subtracting or substituting a few spiritual ideas. Allow your spirituality to grow as you continue to explore, investigate, and seek answers to a better understanding of yourself and your world.
What is spirituality? How does spirituality relate to my life? How do I develop spiritual beliefs? How can I use my spiritual beliefs in my every day life? What is death?
Exploring your spirituality is a journey that can help you to figure out who you are, who you can be, how you fit into the world, and how you can make a difference in the world around you. But, understanding your spirituality can sometimes feel like you are putting together a puzzle without a picture to guide you. Unpuzzling Spirituality helps the reader put together the many spiritual puzzle-pieces to help create a big, happy, peaceful, purposeful, and loving life.
